The project is a permanent text art installation at the Glide Memorial Church family housing project at 125 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA. Glide Economic Development Corporation was required to provide art equal to 1% of the construction cost and ensure the art be installed and maintained on a site clearly visible from the public sidewalk or open space feature. The installation, designed as a work of public art, is located on the lower two floors of the building’s front façade. It has two components: first a text in brass letters, second a text sandblasted into glass.
